The American Indian College Fund was established in 1989 to provide scholarships to American Indian/Alaska Native students attending tribal colleges, and to fund and create awareness about the community-based accredited tribal colleges and universities that offer students access to knowledge and skills alongside Native culture, language, and values. The American Indian College Fund also provides scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students attending any other accredited public and non-profit private college all across the United States.

The VFW is dedicated to promoting patriotism and investing in our future generation. If you are a democracy-loving patriotic middle school student interested in winning $5,000, this scholarship may be for you. The Patriot's Pen program is open to students in grades 6-8, who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial school or home study program in the United States and its territories. The 2017-18 theme is: America's Gift to My Generation. The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's best four-year colleges and universities. Selected from a nationwide pool of applicants, up to 40 students will become Jack Kent Cooke Scholars and have access to funding for up to four years for undergraduate studies. This highly competitive scholarship includes: Up to $40,000 per year to attend a four-year accredited undergraduate school, Ability to pursue any area of study, Personal advising about selecting a college and navigating financial aid, and Multifaceted advising about how to transition to college and maximize the college student experience. Eligibility: (1) Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2018. (2) Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college or university beginning in fall 2018. (3) Earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above. (4) SAT combined critical reading and math score of 1200 or above and/or ACT composite score of 26 or above. The Hagan Scholarship Foundation

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide, need based merit scholarship for rural students who will require financial assistance to attend college. These students will graduate from a public high school located in a county in the United States having fewer than 50,000 residents. Three hundred fifty scholarships can be awarded each year. Eligibility: (1) Must be a U.S. Citizen. (2) Must attend an Eligible Public High School; see List of Eligible Public High Schools. (3) Must be a student in the 2018 high school graduating class. (4) Must have achieved a high school CGPA of 3.50 or higher. (5) Must have scored 23 or higher on the ACT (Composite Score); or 1,200 on the SAT. (6) Must enroll in a four-year college the first semester following high school graduation. (7) Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of college. (8) Must complete the FAFSA in 2017 using 2016 tax return information.

Elks National Foundation - Most Valuable Student

The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2018 competition. Sixt rent a car is pleased to offer five high school seniors graduating in 2018 the opportunity to receive a $5,000 scholarship and become a Sixt scholar. The program is designed to assist high school students who plan to continue their education in college. Scholarships are offered each year for full-time study at an accredited institution of the student's choice. TonaLaw Veteran's Scholarship
Deadline: November 30, 2017
Award Amount: $1,000. Eligibility: (1) Only open to students attending school in the United States. (2) Applicant must be a veteran of any branch of the Armed Forces of the United States. (3) Applicant must be a student at an accredited school, or be accepted to begin school at an accredited school within 6 months of application. All funds will be dispersed to scholarship recipient within 30 days of being announced as the winner. Scholarship winner is determined solely by our selection committee. All decisions of the selection committee are final.
